FIFA 23 Companion App Countdown!

FIFA 23 Web App Release Date Countdown!

FIFA 23 Web App Release Date

With FIFA 23 releasing on September 30, you can expect the FUT 23 web app to go live the previous week on September 21. Based on the FIFA 22 app release schedule, we estimate that the web app, which can be accessed through any web browser, will be accessible on Thursday, September 21, 2022.

Last year, the web app was released eight days before the game’s official release date. As such, our estimate is based on that, which itself was in line with the release schedule of previous years.

It seems that our prediction also turns out to be correct, with FIFAUTEAM claiming that the app will be released on September 21st.

FIFA 23 Mobile Companion App Release Date

As for the mobile app, which can be downloaded on iOS and Android devices, you can expect it to go live on the App Store and Google Play Store from Friday, September 23, 2022.

This is planned based on last year’s releases for web and mobile companion apps. After the web app was released, the mobile companion app was released within days, a week before the game was officially released.

This means you can start making some early SBCs and building your Ultimate Team even before FIFA 23 officially releases.

What can you do on the FUT 23 web app?

As was the case with previous versions of the app, the web app and companion app will let you do the following when it comes to Ultimate Team mode:

  • Buy and sell cards on the transfer market.
  • Open packs with FUT Coins/FIFA Points.
  • Manage your squad’s formation, custom tactics, and roster.
  • Complete Squad Builder Challenges (SBC)

It’s worth noting that you can’t purchase FIFA Points through either version of the app, so any packs you purchase will need to be funded with coins.

Who will star in the FIFA 23 FUT Companion app?

For the past two years, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander Arnold has been the “cover star” for FUT apps in particular. At the time of this writing, it’s unclear if it will return to its role on the apps login screen, but as soon as we hear any news, we’ll update this post and let you know.
